The aim of this project is to promote the economic integration of persons with disabilities utilizing a combination of comprehensive training programs, adaptive environments, and microfinancing schemes.
Summary
This project will develop training and habilitation programs that will train employers how to develop environments that are adapted to persons with various disabilities in order for them to achieve economic independence. An additional component of this project will be to provide microfinancing to promote self-sufficiency. This project will serve as a prototype for programs that can be replicated in other Islamic communities around the world.
Our collaborator for this project is the Islamic Development Bank, an international financial institution fostering the economic development and social progress of member countries, as well as Muslim communities worldwide and Saudi Credit & Solving Bank.
