A delegation from the Special Education College at King Faisal University visited Prince Salman's Center for Disability Research. The delegation's visit came with the purpose of understanding the role that the center plays in the area of scientific research.
The delegation consisted of several faculty members and students, and was received by a number of officials at the Center who presented a detailed overview of the PSCDR's mission, goal, and future plans, and who stressed that the Center's main objective remains to be the support of scientific research related to disability, pointing out that the Center is currently sponsoring twenty four research projects.
The visiting delegation expressed their appreciation for the PSCDR's unique role. The delegation also applauded the generous patronage of HRH Prince Salman Bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh and Supreme Chairman of the PSCDR's Founders' Council, which manifests itself in all areas of humanitarian causes that serve society. The delegation also expressed their appreciation for the efforts expended by HRH Prince Sultan Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the PSCDR's board of trustees, in serving the disabled and adopting their cause.
The delegation concluded the visit by thanking the PSCDR's administration, and stressing the importance of strengthening the cooperation and communication ties between the Center and the Special Education faculty at King Faisal University.
