Gary Dadd

Pyramid Educational Consultant

Gary Dadd graduated from Cambridge University with a B.Ed. in English and Education in 1998, followed by a Masters Degree.  Gary’s involvement with PECS and the Pyramid Approach has developed through his work in two special schools in the UK, where he predominantly taught students with autism and/or profound and multiple learning difficulties.  His school roles have included being responsible for literacy & communication and leading and implementing a project to improve the communication skills of students with PMLD.  Gary created a secondary autistic unit, initially within a year, 7 class and then as a cross key stage autistic unit.  He was commended by local authority inspectors on his commitment to the use of PECS across the day.

He joined Pyramid Educational Consultants in January 2009, since then he has consulted in schools and residential homes across the UK, trained teachers, parents and speech and language therapists and other professionals in PECS in the UK and in the Netherlands.
